A group of high school drummers showed off their skills without using drums. The students from Munford High School in West Tennessee, northeast of Memphis, wowed the entire crowd and the internet with their incredible talent.
The band, which includes 200 students ranging from sixth to 12th graders, trains and participates in national competitions as part of the band.
During their Christmas concert on December 12, eight members of the drumline gave a mind-blowing performance wearing Christmas sweaters and holding just drumsticks. Drummer Blaine Pittman’s mother, Angel McCann, recorded their performance and shared it on Facebook. The video quickly went viral and had been watched over 4.4 million times as of this morning.
“I never miss an opportunity to video their performances because they are always spectacular,” McCann said, “but I never imagined it would receive this kind of recognition.”
