Chrisyius Whitehead, a five-year-old from Tallahassee, Florida, has been playing drums since he was one year old. His father, Chris Whitehead, is a pastor, and their family is very active in their church.

One of these videos went viral, and the producers of AGT saw it. They invited Chrisyius to audition for the show.
At first, Dawandrea thought it might be a scam. After praying and discussing it, the family decided to go to Los Angeles for the audition.
On stage, Chrisyius impressed everyone with his high-energy drumming. Howie Mandel said, “You did GREAT.” Heidi Klum said, “You’re better than most adults trying to do this.”
Sofia Vergara added, “You’re so good at it, and you’re so handsome.” Simon Cowell called him “brilliant” and praised his timing and showmanship.
The judges all voted “yes,” and Chrisyius earned his spot in the competition. If he wins, he plans to share his $1 million prize with the homeless and buy “200 bags of slime and squishy toys.”
Chrisyius’ story shows the power of faith and family. His parents supported him, guided by prayer and trust in God’s plan.
