The driver, Nathaniel Foutch-Pratt, 28, was taking his girlfriend on a road trip from Illinois to California. Their journey took a terrifying turn when the police spotted the woman’s silent cry for help. What followed was a dramatic chase that ended with a crash.

In the aftermath, Foutch-Pratt’s intentions became chillingly clear. He refused to get out of the car.

The bodycam footage captured Foutch-Pratt saying, ‘She has to die tonight,’ and attempting to strangle the woman with a seatbelt.

The police intervened just in time, preventing a tragic outcome.

Foutch-Pratt now faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and domestic violence, with his court date set for March 12.
