Duo Sings Uplifting Cover of ‘What a Day That Will Be’ During Hurricane Milton

The Turner Family Band brought hope during Hurricane Milton’s chaos with their touching duet of ‘What a Day That Will Be’.

what a day that will be duet

‘What a Day That Will Be’ is a well-loved hymn written by Jim Hill in 1955. It talks about the joy of meeting Jesus face to face one day. This song gives comfort to people going through hard times, reminding them of God’s promises.

As Hurricane Milton hit, two women from the Turner Family Band sang to lift spirits. Their version of ‘What a Day That Will Be’ quickly became a source of strength for many. The video was titled “Granny and Lee: Hurricane Milton day, but we are longing for a much better day!” It really spoke to people looking for hope in the storm.

The women’s voices blended beautifully as they sang:

There is coming a day
When no heartaches shall come
No more clouds in the sky
No more tears to dim the eye

These words meant even more as the hurricane raged outside. They reminded listeners that even though earthly storms come, God promises eternal peace with Him.

People really connected with the performance. One viewer wrote, “Thanks for this song we need this right now I live in North Carolina and we just had a hurricane destroy a lot so sad May God Bless You All.”

Another person commented: “what a day glorious day that will be.”

Let’s hold onto the promise of that coming day when we’ll stand with Jesus, free from all sorrow and pain. Until then, may we, like the Turner family, keep praising God, encouraging each other and pointing to the hope we have in Christ.
