Gospel Contestant Takes The Judges To Church With ‘Amazing Grace’

It was a performance to remember when contestant Vonnie Lopez got a standing ovation when she sang ‘Amazing Grace’ on CBS’s The World’s Best.

The contest features contestants from around the world in all genres and has a panel of judges and a ‘wall’ of 50 experts in all areas of entertainment. To move ahead in the competition, the contestant has to score 75 or above.

The tone-deaf Vonnie’s first song was “My Tribute (To God Be The Glory)” which got her major applause from the show.

With this latest performance ‘Amazing Grace,’ she got a standing ovation and judge Faith Hill even shed a few tears and said, “For all of us who grew up in the church, you are just allowing us to experience what it feels like to let yourself go and let the Spirit just take you.”

With this stunning performance, she moved onto the next level and we now have to wait and see what she sings in the next round.
