Trusting God in every situation in our life is very important because He will always make all things work together for our good when we trust and love Him with all our hearts.
Although we might face troubles, storms, and difficult situations that will try to overwhelm us to give up on trusting Him, we should remember that nothing is impossible with God, for He is the God that knows the end from the beginning.
When we seek Him and trust Him, He will direct our ways and ensures that victory is achieved in whatever situation we are in. However, when we put our trust in men, it leads to disappointment because men always respond according to their conditions and situations at the moment.
So, therefore, trusting in men, means we are saying that God is not able to help us in our condition. But when we trust God no matter the situation, He will always deliver us. Although He may use a man to answer us, all glory belongs to Him.
Here are some reasons why we should seek and trust God in every area of our lives.
1). Victory is assured when we trust in God.
Trusting in the Lord gives the assurance of victory in our lives. We depend totally on Him, that He is able to help us overcome any difficult situation in our lives.
Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” When we put our trust in God, He will be the one to fight our battles and give us victory in every area of our lives.
We don’t need to be afraid of people who are fighting against us because the battle is of the Lord. He will not allow the enemies to rise over us, for He is with us. Whatever you are facing in your life be assured that God will bring you out of every condition as you put your trust in Him.
2). God’s blessing will be upon your life as you trust Him.
The blessings of God are for those who trust in Him, “But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, who confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes, its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV.
When we put our confidence in Him, we will not lack any good thing because His blessing is upon our lives. We will always be productive in every area of our lives. This is possible because of His grace in our lives. So put your trust in God and seek Him with your heart, and His blessing will be evident in your life.
God is the one who makes us rich and He adds no sorrow unto it. The blessing we receive from Him will not lead us to distortion but will help us to show fort the love of God to others.
3). Our trust in God brings forgiveness to us.
Trusting God leads us to repentance and brings forgiveness to our lives. When we hear His word and trust in Him, it brings conviction to our spirit, leading us to repentance from our sins and forgiveness of God. We have to put our trust in what God did for us through the death of His son Jesus. For this is the fundamental aspect of our lives.
When trust in God, we are believing in the redemption that we received in Him through Jesus Christ. Our sins are forgiven and forgotten. For the life that we now live is not our own lives, but it is Christ who lives in us, who now lives in us. We are now new creations in Christ and our sins are forgiven. His love and goodness is running after us, bring forgiveness as we trust Him always.
