9-year-old Claire Crosby sings a worship song about Jesus ‘This is the Christ,’ and it’s such a blessing to all of us today.
As the country is still recovering from the recent Texas school shooting, this song is giving us hope and assurance that God will restore all things.
The words of this song were inspired by scripture Luke 22: 42,44 and were written by James E. Faust, and Jan Pinborough and the music was composed by Michael Finlinson Moody.
They heard His voice, a voice so mild
It pierced them through and made their souls to quake
They saw Him come, a man in white
The Savior who had suffered for their sake
Many people know Claire from the time she was 3-years-old on Little Big Shots, but since that time, her music has evolved so much and she has her own unique vocal quality which makes her different from the rest.
They felt the wounds in hands and side
And each could testify; This is the Christ
Today she sings ‘This Is Christ’ straight from her heart and the words of this song soothe us telling us that Christ is our only hope and the love we need.

Who ransomed us with love divine
