A 19-year-old girl sang through brain surgery to save her musical talents.

Kira Iaconetti is passionate about singing, but when doctors discovered a rare tumor in her brain, her talent was at risk. She was diagnosed with “musicogenic epilepsy” which resulted in seizures while she listen to music or singing.

Doctors wanted Kira to sing while in surgery, So they can notice any difference in her voice and avoid that specific area. The surgery was a miraculous success and Kira was up singing while still in the hospital bed.
