The story of these two high school friends in Norman, Arkansas has gone viral and is reminding the country of the power of friendship.
Tanner Wilson and Brandon Qualls, are the two friends who are inspiring generations on social media.
Brandon Qualls uses a manual wheelchair to get around for years, and it was becoming too much for him as he had to push his way down the halls from class to class around Caddo Hills High School, as he says, “My arms would get really tired.”
For two years, Tanner set aside the money he earned from his job at an auto repair shop till he was able to have enough to buy Brandon an electric wheelchair.
Brandon was presented the new wheelchair by Tanner in front of his classmates, it was too overwhelming for him, “They came in and my face just blew up,” Brandon said. “I was just crying everywhere. I was like, ‘Wow I can’t believe he did that for me.’ He adds, “It’s been my dream to just have one of these,” Brandon said. “And my dream came true.” He also says, ‘He’s just always been there for me’
When asked why he did it, Tanner says, “He’s just been a really good friend and I wanted to do him a favor, I just felt like I needed to do it. … Brandon, he’s just always been there for me.”
Tanner’s mother Colleen Carmack said, that her son was getting a lot of attention from the media and smiles when he reads messages people have posted online about his good deed. She says, “They both deserve the attention because they’re both great and wonderful kids,” She is not surprised at her son’s behavior as she says that he has always been generous and loves to do something for others.
We would like to share some love. Today Tanner Wilson, Caddo Hill’s Senior, surprised his fellow classmate Brandon…

Teacher Kathy Baker said about Tanner, “He loves to do for others,” Baker said. “He is just a great young man.”
If a high school student can have a heart of gold, why can’t every citizen of this country be like him and make everybody’s life better.
