A tap dancer and drummer amazed everyone on America’s Got Talent with their unique performance.
Jabu Graybeal and Cornelio Joseph combined tap dancing and drumming in a way that captivated the judges and the audience. It was a memorable moment that showcased their incredible talents.
Jabu, from North Carolina, discovered his love for tap dancing when his mother noticed him drumming on pots and pans as a child. She enrolled him in tap classes, and he eventually worked with artists like Shakira.
Cornelio, from Brooklyn, is a talented singer-songwriter and drummer who studied at Juilliard. He has also performed with Postmodern Jukebox. This was their first performance together as a duo, and they made quite an impression.
They performed a medley of ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’ and ‘Conga’ on America’s Got Talent. Jabu’s tap dancing was precise, his feet moving quickly to create a rhythm that matched Cornelio’s drumming perfectly.
The audience loved it, and the judges were impressed. The two artists complemented each other well, creating a seamless blend of their skills.
Viewers shared their excitement, with one commenting, “They’re giving off such a good vibe and energy that I almost stepped out of bed,” while another said, “This performance was incredibly awesome!!! These two clearly know how to put on a show.”
