Sylvester Stallone showed his hidden talent by dancing to Smokey Robinson & The Miracles’ 1967 hit song ‘More Love’ during what started as a routine costume fitting.
The 78-year-old star was in the middle of trying on clothes for his next project when the music moved him to dance. He posted the video on Instagram on October 18, 2024, where we see him dancing barefoot with natural rhythm.
In his own words, he said, “I was caught off guard while going through a clothes fitting for an upcoming project — great song though!”
His followers loved this surprise performance. The video reached more than 1.2 million likes on Instagram. Many fans shared their excitement in the comments. One person wrote, “Get it sir! Yes you still got it,” while another made a fun connection to his movie role saying, “Still got what Apollo teached you!! “
For someone who built his career on action roles, Stallone’s dance moves were impressive. He moved smoothly to the Motown beat, swaying his hips and raising his arms in time with the music.
The video ends with him spotting the camera, pointing at it with his familiar smile, clearly enjoying this unplanned dance break.
The song that started it all, ‘More Love’, came out on Motown Records as part of Smokey Robinson & The Miracles’ 1967 album ‘Make It Happen’. His choice of this classic Motown song made the moment even more special.
Some fans suggested he should join ‘Dancing with the Stars’ after seeing his dance skills. While we don’t know if he’ll take up that offer, his dancing has brought smiles to many faces.
