For three years, Carrie Lou Rausch had been living at the same residence. Carrie who recently turned 108-years-old had outlived her savings and can’t afford to stay for the next year, since they don’t accept Medicaid as a source of payment. She was on the verge of being moved into a nursing home. So her daughter, Susan Hatfield set up a GoFundMe page for the support. It was unbelievable that thousand of well wishers raised more than $50,000 for her comfort stay. “My mom has always said the Lord will take care of her,” said Hatfield. Rausch is still active and uses a walker to get around attending family functions and greeting everyone she meets. What an amazing act of sharing! We have lot of good-hearted people around us.

Verse of the Day
“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”
