Pregnant Mom’s Faith Is Restored In Humanity As Kind Couple Help Calm Cranky Toddler On Flight

Traveling with toddlers can be a nightmare sometimes for parents as you never know what to expect with your little one, but one pregnant mom of a 1-year-old boy is looking for a couple who helped look after her toddler on the flight.

Mississippi mom Jessica Knapp From Long Beach is searching for a couple from Buffalo, New York, who took care of her cranky toddler during a recent flight. She says, she was initially dreading to travel with her 1-year-old son all alone but is thankful for the sweet couple who next to her and won her heart with their kind and calm behavior.

To the couple in 27A-B. I’ve always seen these stories circling facebook, but truly didn’t believe this would ever…

She wrote on Facebook, “These past 3 weeks were the most stressful time, I was NOT looking forward to flying with a one year old again, while five months pregnant, completely alone.” She says that most passengers would feel inconvenient to sit next to a 1-year-old but Kevin and Lisa were cool about it.

The couple held the little toddler in their arms and kept him busy showing him the lights and happenings outside the plane before takeoff so that pregnant Knapp could have a break. She was relieved to see her son comfortable and happy in the company of strangers which he normally doesn’t like. But he was so happy around Lisa and Kevin that he fell asleep before the plane even left the runway.

Knapp wrote, “When he crawled over me while everyone was still boarding to look out the window, you didn’t hesitate to show him all the lights outside, you made him laugh, you made him feel so safe in your arm that he fell asleep!” Knapp got some much needed relaxation on the flight and even made friends with the couple. Acts of kindness such as these make us believe in humanity.

Verse of the Day

“[Instructions on Worship] I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
