Brackin and Lindsay Kirkland of Sounds Like Reign perform this medley along with their six children.

Twila Paris (born 1958) wrote the song ‘He Is Exalted,’ which was released in her 1985 album Kingdom Seekers.

He is exalted the King is exalted on High
I will praise Him
He is exalted forever exalted
And I will praise His name

Since then, she has written many songs that became world-famous Christian anthems. She has released nearly two dozen albums and has won numerous awards and accolades, including five Dove Awards.

He is the Lord
Forever His truth shall reign
Heaven and Earth
Rejoice in His holy name
He is exalted the King is exalted on high

‘I Exalt Thee’ was composed and released in 1983 by trumpeter and singer Phil Driscoll. The song gained widespread recognition, and Driscoll received the 1984 GMA Dove Award for Instrumentalist of the Year.

For Thou, O Lord, art high above all the earth
Thou art exalted far above all gods
For Thou, O Lord, art high above all the earth
Thou art exalted far above all gods

The album was nominated for the GMA Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year, and ‘I Exalt Thee’ reached #15 on Billboard’s Inspirational LPs chart.

I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee, O Lord
I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee, O Lord

These two songs are beautiful praise hymns to the Lord. As we worship Him today, we know that God alone can rectify everything in our lives and in our country.

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

Luke 2:8-11
