He speaks about the song, “This song was written in a season where I was really discovering the grace of God and His kindness, patience, and mercy.”

I’ve never known a love like Yours
So intimate so powerful
And I’ve tasted I’ve seen
And nothing comes close
I’ve never known a love like Yours

Ryan Ellis is not a stranger to worship music as he has written songs for Matt Redman, Natalie Grant, Meredith Andrews, Steven Malcolm, House Fires, and also wrote Chris Tomlin‘s “Resurrection Power,” which earned him a GMA Dove Award nomination and ASCAP’s Most Performed Song award in 2018.

The San Diego native has spent 5 years serving in the U.S. Navy, including a tour of duty in Afghanistan, and has been singing and dancing since childhood.

Jesus Your name is power
It’s breath and living water
And Your spirit guides me
To the heart of the Father
Let Your praise ring louder
Every day and every hour
Cause Your spirit guides me
To the heart of the Father

A personal encounter with Jesus changed his whole life and led him to become the Worship Pastor at Isla Vista Upper Room and oversee Isla Vista Worship.

I’ve never felt at home like this
Just like a child so innocent
And I’m safe inside Your arms
Cause you won’t let go
I’ve never known a love like Yours

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
