Billy Graham Shares Powerful Sermon: Will You Run From God Or Towards Him?

The late evangelist Billy Graham continues to influence and inspire Christians around the world with his recorded sermons. He has an extraordinary question for you today- will you run from God or towards Him?

Billy Graham doesn’t need an introduction, he is one of the most well-known evangelists in the history of the world. He led powerful crusades where thousands received Christ as their Savior.

He passed away just a few years ago, and in this video, Billy shares the gift of trusting your life to Jesus. He preaches about Jonah and how he tried to run away from God and what He asked Him to do to help share His love to the people of Nineveh.

Billy makes you think of who you might be hiding from in your life, not wishing that they come to the saving grace of Christ. God’s Word tells us that the Lord does not want anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

He tells a story of an extremely rich couple he met on an airplane who have properties around the world and never stay in the same place for more than two weeks at a time.

Billy speaks about restlessness in life and not being satisfied in Christ and confident of His purposes. At the end of the sermon, he invites the audience to come to the altar to surrender to Jesus and accept Him as their Savior. It results in huge crowds coming forward to the altar.

This video may have been filmed many years ago but it is relevant today more than before. Billy Graham’s message is the same that we are all sinners separated from God and it is only Jesus who can reunite us back into presence of God.

Verse of the Day

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””

Luke 2:11-14
