Roman was diagnosed with spina bifida after an ultrasound at 20 weeks. It’s a birth defect in which a baby’s spinal cord fails to develop properly.
Despite this, Roman’s parents were determined to persevere, and their strength and love shine through every step of his journey.
We just love the way Roman is trying to give himself a bath, and especially the way he says difficult words like “caterpillar” — it’s really amazing for a little baby like him.
