Seven-year-old Jane and her dad, Joseph Larson, amazed people worldwide once again as they sang their cover of the classic hymn, ‘Rock Of Ages.’
Jane belted out high notes as she sat comfortably beside her equally talented dad. She was clad in a green dress, prim and proper like a lady. Her dad’s vocal prowess was also amazing. He also did a great job by giving this song a new musical arrangement.
The father-daughter duo has a number of videos on YouTube. Joseph also uploaded his thoughts online about controversial topics like, upholding purity and trusting God at all seasons.
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save from wrath and make me pureNot the labors of my hands
Can fill all thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and thou alone
This song is a reminder that we are to depend fully on God, our ‘Rock of Ages.’ Jesus’ salvation is all that we need. May we be reminded that there is no other rock we can lean on except for Him.
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2
