Rise Up Children’s Choir’s Empowering Cover Of Disney Aladdin’s ‘Speechless’

Rise Up Children’s Choir have bowled us over with a stunning makeover of ‘Speechless’ from Aladdin.

“Speechless” is a powerful song written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paulare. Like other Disney princess songs, this one also has belty high notes, “Speechless” is princess Jasmine’s own female empowerment song by Naomi Scott who portrays Jasmine in the movie.

In the movie, Jasmine doesn’t actually sing the song, but imagines herself singing it before an important speech, it is not about her being speechless, but that she will never be speechless again in life.

“But I can’t cry
And I can’t start to crumble
Whenever they try
To shut me or cut me down
I can’t stay silent
Though they wanna keep me quiet
And I tremble when they try it
All I know is I won’t go speechless”

The talented Rise Up Children’s Choir comprises of children from the age of 6 to 18 years and they perform songs from all types of music genre. They are doing a mind blowing cover of this song. As members of the children’s choir, they follow their passion for creativity in their personal life and professional lives as well.

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
