Humanity At Its Best – Montreal Restaurant Offers Free Food To Anyone Who Needs It

Marché Ferdous is a Muslim-owned restaurant in Montreal, which gives free meals to anyone who is hungry and can’t afford to pay. This incredible kindness was started at the end of 2015. There are lot of homeless people around the restaurant’s neighborhood. Instead of giving them some change, co-owner Yahya Hashemi and his staff came up with an idea to offer free meals for them. Later it became free for everyone who needs it.

Verse of the Day

“And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.”

Luke 2:16-20
