“I never pray, and I prayed yesterday morning,” Cassandra Orozco said. “You know what I need. Just please give it to me,” she prayed.
A few hours later, she believes God answered her prayer.
She pulled into a gas station to fill up her tank and found a gift card taped to the pump.
She could not believe what her eyes were seeing and looked around the gas station in disbelief, took a picture of the gas pump and gift card for social media.
Cassandra said that attached to the gift card was a picture of a baby. Eleanor-Josephine was stillborn on Sept. 11, 2015 and her mother, Natalie, was keeping her memory alive and performing acts of kindness in her remembrance.
She would buy gift cards at various stores, make kits for the homeless, paid meals for random strangers and bought pizzas for local fire stations.
“To be blessed by someone who doesn’t want anything in return. It is amazing, ya know? I want Eleanor-Josephine’s memory to live on forever,” Cassandra said.
Cassandra is moved by Natalie’s act of kindness and says it has changed her life and now she plans to pay it forward as soon as she is back on her feet.
