Our police officers are known to go above and beyond to help people and even animals in distress, a video has emerged of a cop in Houston who helped reunite lost ducklings with mama duck.
Priscilla Thompson says Officer Engelhart was helping her after she had locked her keys in her car near a park in Houston, TX.
And after that, he helped escort 7 lost ducklings back to their mother which she filmed on video and shared it on X (formerly Twitter).
“Duckling whisperer.. so cute that they just followed him,” one user commented.
“Sgt. Englehart created his own Easter Parade!” another wrote.
The Houston Police Department posted a video that shows the lost ducklings heading safely back to the water. An officer can be heard saying, “I can see the mama duck right there.”

A big thank you to @houstonpolice Sgt. Engelhart who not only helped me after I locked my keys in the car this morning, but also helped these little chicks find their way back to mom — all while making sure that folks know all @HoustonTX parks are closed due to #COVID19. pic.twitter.com/x3TX29xzwJ
