Cleveland police said that their officers had worked tirelessly Tuesday night and found the baby, identified as Cannon Tatum McDoodle, in Youngstown, 75 miles from where he was last seen in Cleveland.

The baby was found in good health and has been placed into the custody of Children and Family Services, police said. The mother reported the child missing at 11 p.m. Tuesday at the police station.

She said that she had an argument with a female family friend who then assaulted her and drove off in her black 2006 Chevy Impala with the baby inside the vehicle.

The police are yet to arrest anybody as detectives are continuing to investigate due to “conflicting information” and will be consulting with the prosecutor’s office about making charges.

Verse of the Day

“And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ””
