“What About Us” is an emotional song which is about the fate of children in broken families, who see their parents marriages ending in divorce. It is said that the children are the ones who bear the worse brunt of any marriage ending and the roller coaster of emotions that are involved in it.

We are searchlights, we can see in the dark
We are rockets, pointed up at the stars
We are billions of beautiful hearts
And you sold us down the river too far

What about us?
What about all the times you said you had the answers?
What about us?
What about all the broken happy ever afters?
What about us?
What about all the plans that ended in disaster?
What about love? What about trust?
What about us?
We are problems that want to be solved

One Voice Children’s Choir have done a passionate rendition of this song and are on a mission to lift the human race with the music they love to sing according to their YouTube channel. We absolutely love their songs and their mission, they are such a big inspiration to young children all over the world.

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

Luke 2:8-11
