Stranded Bride And Groom Rescued During Flash Floods By Brave Police Officers

One New Jersey bride’s nightmares came true, when her wedding party got stuck on the way to church in flash floods, which took everyone by surprise.

But thankfully, Bogota Police department officers helped her into safety into a Humvee.

The Bogota Police Department shared on Facebook that the bride, husband, and wedding party, were stuck in the rising waters located just out of NYC.

The police department used a Humvee from the Military Law Enforcement Surplus Program, to get to the stranded wedding group and were able to rescue them.

Kudos to the brave Botoga Police department officers and our best wishes to the new bride and groom on the start of their wedded life. May God rescue them through every storm in their life just like He did in this one.

Verse of the Day

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””

Luke 2:11-14
