Dying Cancer Patient Has One Last Wish, His Nurse Makes It Happen

After two years of battle with prostate cancer, Joe Booth was told in February to stop taking his medication as his condition was getting worse. The 69-year-old man from New Albany, Indiana said he was scared after he realized the shocking fact. But there was still one dream he wanted to fulfill, it was to fly in an airplane.

I’ve never stepped foot in an airplane,” Booth said. “I used to build model airplanes all the time as a kid, but I just never got the chance.

On February 25 Booth’s dream became a reality. Thanks to Tracey Hoffman, a oncology nurse at Norton Hospital.

Here we are talking about the end of his life and he’s thinking about how he had never been in an airplane,” Hoffman said.

She wrote about his last wish on her Facebook. The post went viral and more than 25 pilots volunteered to give Booth his last flight.

Today Booth is flying in a plane for the first time in his life. This beautiful video will touch your heart.
