A heartwarming gesture by a police officer in suburban Chicago is melting hearts all over the country.
Officer Brian Zagorski of the Niles Police Department, took off his shoes and gave them to a homeless man who had fallen down, due to poor footwear.
The Niles Police Department posted on their Facebook page about how officer Zagorski gave up his shoes and also offered the homeless man, a Bag of H.O.P.E., with toiletries and clothing, but he declined to accept it.
The picture was taken by officer Michael Dati who clicked them without them knowing.
