NFL players openly share their personal relationship with Jesus Christ in a powerful short interview video by God Behind Bars.
Every day we see God working through people in different fields, especially in sports. When professional athletes use their platform to glorify God, it touches many lives.
In this video, NFL players share their heartfelt testimonies about their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The players spoke from their hearts about finding Jesus. One player described salvation as a gift that changes everything. He said, “It’s a gift, and if you’re hearing the Gospel, you just have to accept it. It’s a free, and it’s an open gift. It’s a relationship; you don’t have to do anything to take that gift, and then when you do take it, it just starts to transform your life from the inside out.”
Quarterback Carson Wentz talked about what makes Christianity different from other religions. He explained, “At the end of the day, He’s the only way. He’s the only way. He’s the truth and the life. There’s a lot of other religions that’ll tell you ‘Do, do, do.’ And Jesus says, ‘It’s done.’ You know, Jesus says, ‘It’s done.’ He’s already done it for us by dying on that cross, which allows us to live freely, live with that peace that we’ve been talking about.”
The athletes shared how Jesus helps them through tough times. Even when they face big challenges, their faith gives them strength. One player put it simply: “Jesus is better than football. Jesus is better than anything else you have going in your life.” This shows us how these players value their relationship with God more than their success in sports.
Jameis Winston shared two important teachings from the Bible that guide him. He said, “But Jesus said these two things will allow you the keys of heaven: Seek first the kingdom of God, and all His righteousness and love thy neighbor as thyself.”
Winston added something important about loving others – he pointed out that we need to love ourselves first to truly love our neighbors.
The players emphasized that Christianity welcomes everyone. As one player explained, “Christianity is for the Unholy and Jesus makes you holy, He clothes you in righteousness.”
Another player powerfully testified, “I know the power of Jesus Christ and I know who my Lord is and he has the power to change any moment any situation anything.”
These athletes shared how grateful they are for Jesus’s sacrifice. One player expressed, “what he did for our sins is something that I will always always be in debt of regardless of where you’re at in your life.” They use their platform to show how God’s love transforms lives, both on and off the field.
Their stories show us that real happiness doesn’t come from being successful or famous. Instead, it comes from knowing Jesus personally.
These players aren’t afraid to talk about their faith, even though many people watch everything they do. They remind us that God can use anyone to share His message of love.
These testimonies encourage us to be brave about sharing our own faith stories.
Just like these athletes found new life in Jesus, we can experience the same gift of salvation. God’s grace is big enough for everyone, and He invites us to share how He has changed our lives too.
