An 8-year-old violinist, Emily Minko, recently captured hearts with a street performance of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” alongside violinist Karolina Protsenko and Karolina’s mother.
Emily, who faced the common fear of public performance, showcased remarkable courage and talent. The performance, shared on YouTube, took place on a busy street, drawing an audience of passersby. Emily began the piece on her violin, joined shortly by Karolina, creating a harmonious rendition of the well-known song from “Titanic.”
What made the performance more special was when Emily, around two minutes into the video, stepped up to the microphone to sing. Despite apparent nerves, her vocal execution was flawless, without missing a beat or a lyric. Karolina’s mother, not only adept at the keyboard, lent her voice to the performance, adding depth to the rendition.
The audience’s reaction was overwhelmingly positive, offering applause and appreciation for the trio’s musical display.
