Video not working?

Irena Ivic was on her routine route when she spotted a barefoot little boy running along the sidewalk of a Milwaukee freeway overpass at 8 a.m. She immediately stopped and ran across the busy street to scoop up the child.

Ivic then took him into the vehicle. A passenger gave her coat to keep the child warm. The little boy fell asleep in Ivic’s arms while they waited for emergency workers.

According to Police, the boy, was less than a year old, had been left outside by his mother. Thanks to the kindness and quick action of the bus driver, who helped save his life and reunite him with his father.

The Milwaukee County Transit System shared the dramatic video on Social Media and honored Ivic.

Verse of the Day

“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.”

1 John 4:20-21
