The Petersens a family band from Branson, Missouri, consisting of siblings Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne, their mother Karen, and friend Emmett Franz, chose the Christmas-decorated Silver Dollar City as their stage. Their rendition of ‘Mary Did You Know’ blended traditional bluegrass sounds with the spirit of Christmas.

The song, known for its reflections on the birth of Jesus, was given a new life through the family’s harmonious performance.
