9-Year-Old’s Incredible Impromptu Performance Of ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ At Ballpark

At just 9 years old, Marley McAninch stunned everyone at a local game in California with a mind-blowing rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner.

Singing The National Anthem is no easy feat, as it’s one of the most difficult songs to perform perfectly on pitch.

This iconic song was written by Francis Scott Key in 1814 during the War of 1812. After British forces bombed Fort McHenry, the U.S. emerged victorious in the battle.

The next day, Key saw the American flag flying over the fort, which inspired him to write this timeless anthem.

“O! say can you see by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”

Despite having just one day to practice, Marley McAninch fearlessly stepped up to perform this historic song at a local league game, delivering a stunning performance that left everyone speechless.

Marley’s incredible vocals went viral, and now everyone is talking about this young talent’s amazing rendition.
