Nothing in this world can give us lasting peace or free us from our burdens. People, things, and achievements may offer temporary relief, but only Jesus Christ can transform our lives completely.

God’s incredible love reaches out to everyone who feels lost, broken, or unworthy. His grace and mercy are available to anyone who accepts Jesus as their Savior. When we surrender our lives to Him, He fills our emptiness with His perfect love and purpose.

The baptism ceremony took place in her local church, where Lola knelt in the baptismal pool. Her pastor stood beside her, sharing words of encouragement before immersing her in the water.

The congregation watched this beautiful moment of public declaration of faith, supporting her decision to follow Jesus.

In her social media post, Lola opened up about her struggle with depression. “When I was in my deepest depression, there was a moment where I realized I hit rock bottom,” she wrote. “I felt so lost and hopeless, and was just doing my best to make it to the next day.” During this dark time, she found Jesus, who became both her Savior and best friend.

Her life changed when she accepted Jesus. Before finding faith, Lola dealt with severe anxiety and felt unworthy of love. She shared how Jesus transformed her pain into purpose: “I began to trust Jesus with my life, when He chose me when no one else did, and loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love. He gave me a light, when I couldn’t find my own and rescued me from the darkness.”

The start of 2025 marked a significant milestone in Lola’s faith journey. She chose baptism to declare her commitment to Jesus publicly. “I chose to get baptized at the beginning of this year, because I made it through this year only by the strength of Jesus, and I am so happy to go into this next year,” she explained.

Lola’s testimony shows how God turned her tears into joy, as she now finds herself “laughing again in places I only had cried.”

The story also reveals the healing in her family relationships. Charlie Sheen, 59, and Denise Richards, 53, divorced in 2006 after four years of marriage.

Despite their past conflicts, they now maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship for their daughters – Lola, her sister Sami, 20, and Richards’ adopted daughter Eloise.

Charlie Sheen spoke about their improved relationship: “We’re absolutely friendly. We went through so much s— together that I don’t think either one of us has any energy left to be divisive. The only thing that matters is the kids. We knew we had to park our nonsense and focus on the children, because they had nothing to do with any of our crud.”

Lola ended her testimony with heartfelt words of gratitude: “I am forever saved by His grace, through Faith. I thank you Jesus for everything, I love you, and I hope you are proud of me.”

God specializes in taking broken pieces and creating something beautiful. When we feel trapped in darkness, Jesus stands ready to light our path.

Lola’s story shows us that no pit is too deep for God’s love to reach. He meets us in our lowest moments and lifts us up.

If you’re struggling with depression or feeling unworthy today, know that Jesus loves you deeply and wants to transform your life just as He did for Lola.
