A two-year-old Ella Grace Pierce from Virginia moved hearts when she cried while talking about her love for Jesus.
Children often show us what pure faith looks like. Their simple trust and open hearts remind us of Jesus’s words about having childlike faith. This truth shines through Ella’s story.
Ella started praying at age one, and her mother Emily Bannard watched her grow closer to Jesus each day. In the touching video, when asked why she’s crying, Ella says simply, “Because Jesus loves me.” When asked again, she adds, “Jesus is coming.”
Her mother shares, “Ella is always talking about her love for Jesus, it really is so sweet and makes my heart so happy.”
This little girl’s emotional response shows how deeply even young children can experience God’s love. She’s not old enough for preschool, yet she feels Jesus’s love so strongly it brings her to tears.
