This Mom Met a Stranger And 10-Years Later She Became a Life-Saving Sister

When Marie Kilgore made a trip to China to adopt her daughter, she got a lifelong friend Liz Smith, who also visited the country to adopt a daughter. They returned to United States and bonded together to raise their daughters. But Marie never expect their friendship would save her life too. 10-years-later, she needed a  kidney transplant. Doctors confirmed her husband was not a match. Liz went through the testing and found she was perfect. Liz donated her kidney to Marie in August and both of them are recovering from surgery. Now these best friends are even closer than before. What a beautiful friendship!

Verse of the Day

“[The Greatest Gift] Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”

1 Corinthians 13:1-3
