Little Girl Uses Lemonade Stand To Pay Off Her School District’s Lunch Debt

6-year-old Amiah Van Hill, a second-grader in Hayden, Idaho wants to pay down all the school lunch debt in Idaho’s Coeur d’Alene Public School District. She aims to do this one glass of lemonade at a time. So she started “Lemonade 4 Lunch” to help families in need. Initially the little girl could pay off the lunch debt at three local schools. But she wanted to do more. So Amiah set a new goal of $23,000 in order to completely pay off the entire lunch debt of the district! Now Amiah is raising money to accomplish her goal using her lemonade stand and the crowdfunding page she started with her mom.

Verse of the Day

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””

Luke 2:11-14
