As Christians, we must have a different outlook on the land of Israel in comparison to what the world has. We serve the same God that Israel serves and we know that He is going to send His Son Jesus Christ to reign for 1000 years from there.
Even though there are many strifes in the land since the very start, we believers should be concerned about what goes on there and pray for the Jews to be saved because that is our duty.
Here are some Bible verses that tell us more about what God says about the land of Israel:
1. Genesis 12:3
“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
2. Psalm 122:6
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you!”
3. Ezekiel 37:21
“Then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land.”
4. Genesis 12:7
“Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.”
5. Amos 9:14-15
“I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God.”
6. Ezekiel 11:17
“Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.’”
7. Genesis 17:7-8
“And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you. And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.”
8. Joel 3:2
“I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land.”
9. Jeremiah 30:3
“For behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession of it.”
10. Deuteronomy 26:9
“And he brought us into this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.”
