A Cappella Quartet Singing ‘Total Praise’ Will Cover You In Chills

Koreansoul’s impromptu performance of ‘Total Praise’ is so good. This morning we feel uplifted to hear these young men sing this beautiful worship song.

‘Total Praise’ was written by popular gospel singer Richard Smallwood in the year 1996. He wrote it at a time when his mother had dementia and a family friend was dying of cancer, which left Smallwood to be the caregiver for both of them.

He says the song came to him in a dream, and Smallwood says, that is the reason why he keeps an audio recorder next to his bed. “I felt left by God,” he says. “I was trying to write a pity-party song, but God pulled me to do a praise song. God said, ‘I want your praise no matter what the situation you are in, good or bad.’ It’s about trusting him.”

Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills
Knowing my help is coming from You
Your peace you give me in time of the storm

You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to you

We feel uplifted and encouraged by the young men from Koreansoul singing ‘Total Praise.’ May they be an inspiration to the young generations and may many more spirit filled worshipers arise in the earth.

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

Luke 2:8-11
