Cimorelli, with more than 5.4 million YouTube subscribers, has been singing beautiful, uplifting covers of popular songs for the last 10 years.

King of My Heart was written by Sarah and John Mark McMillan and has become a modern worship favorite. It was birthed out of the pain Sarah experienced when her parents divorced, reminding her of Christ’s great promises—that He will never abandon or leave us alone.

Let the King of my heart
Be the mountain where I run
The fountain I drink from
Oh, He is my song
Let the King of my heart
Be the shadow where I hide
The ransom for my life
Oh, He is my song

Sarah writes: “This song is about the tension we often find ourselves in this life. At the time I wrote this song, I was processing the divorce of my parents and at the same time experiencing the overwhelming joy of having children of my own. Both experiences changed my identity so deeply. I wrote ‘King of My Heart’ to remind myself that there was no joy or sorrow that could dilute the pure goodness of who God was. Everything I thought I lost, could actually be found in the Force of His goodness.”

Cause You are good
You are good, oh oh
You are good
You are good, oh oh
You are good
You are good, oh oh
You are good
You are good, oh oh

Today, as the five sisters of Cimorelli put their own spin on this song, it serves as a powerful reminder that God loves us with an everlasting love that will never change or diminish with the passing of time.
