Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on God’s goodness and the abundance of blessings He bestows upon us. The children’s choir performed ‘Thankful,’ and its lyrics beautifully capture the essence of gratitude:
For every good thing that I have comes from God
Every day, every hour
There are blessings He sends without number or end
If I counted a hundred or a thousand, I’m sure
There would still be more
It’s human nature to focus on what we lack rather than appreciating what we have. We often find ourselves complaining about our desires unmet. But it’s essential to cultivate an attitude of gratitude, especially towards God, who continually blesses us.
Even during life’s trials and hardships, God remains loving and faithful, providing for our needs and pouring out His blessings on those who follow Him.
