The teen from the Dominican Republic grew up in the capital, Santo Domingo. She won the second season of Dominicana’s Got Talent and first appeared on ‘AGT’ as a 14-year-old. She is now making a return to the stage on, ‘America’s Got Talent: All-Stars 2023.

On her Linkedin profile, Keren Montero writes, “I am a Christian singer, and at my young age I have gained some experience in that area. I have been a judge in singing contests and I have also won some first places in very important contests, such as the Dominican’s Got Talent. So I think I can contribute a lot of my knowledge to others.”

You are not hidden
There’s never been a moment
You were forgotten
You are not hopeless
Though you have been broken
Your innocence stolen

I hear you whisper underneath your breath
I hear your SOS, your SOS

I will send out an army
To find you in the middle of the darkest night
It’s true, I will rescue you

One can unmistakably feel and see the goodness of God through her singing, full of poise and grace. It was not just another performance for the sake of it. She glorified God and declared His greatness by reminding listeners that God listens and knows our soul’s cry and He is always ready to rescue us.

Over and above that, her modest appearance added a certain kind of beauty that is uncommon on such a stage and she exudes a radiance that is rare. Praise God!

May the good Lord continue to bless and use Keren Montero’s voice and life to inspire and lead others to Christ.
