Love is always above hatred and triumphs over it in every way and one singing superstar decided to show some love to the people of New Zealand while on tour.

So, John Mayer who is on tour of New Zealand and Asia, began his concert at Auckland, New Zealand just one week of the shootings and decided to show some love to them by singing the hymn, “How Great Thou Art.”
He was also joined by New Zealand artist Bella Kalolo, who sang parts in te reo — a Polynesian language spoken by the indigenous people of New Zealand, the Māori.

They were later accompanied by a traditional dance performed by Akapahaka group. After the performance, John thanked everyone for coming out under such heavy circumstances and paying tribute to the fallen and grieving.
