John Crist is a celebrated Christian comedian known for his subtle wit and sarcasm. He is a “viral sensation,” according to his website.
When asked how he started doing comedy, he says, “My dad is a pastor, and I was the third of eight homeschooled children. Coming from a background like that, how do you NOT write jokes?!”
He likes to make jokes about dating in church, reading church reviews online, and even Chick-fil-A.
In the video “John Crist Explains Horn Etiquette,” he tells you the proper time and place to honk, or not to honk, your car horn.
He categorizes honks by number and length. It is super hilarious. It includes a single short honk, two short honks, and so on.
“Two medium-length honks,” he says. “Oh, that is serious! That’s like the mom waiting in the garage when the kids are trying to get ready for church, and we’re ready to go. It’s like, ‘Don’t make me get to three honks!'”
