80-Year-Old World Famous Pianist Plays Piano For The First Time In 20 Years Wearing Bionic Gloves

One of the world’s most highly acclaimed pianists of our times, João Carlos Martins, who is also a celebrated interpreter of Johann Sebastian Bach’s music played the piano wearing bionic gloves.

The 80-year-old genius pianist has been suffering, multiple health issues, injuries and operations, which forced him unable to play the instrument he had mastered since the age of eight.

He was forced to work as a conductor since the early 2000s, but now thanks to a pair of neoprene-covered bionic gloves, Martins is finally able to perform again.

In a recent video he shared on Instagram, João Carlos Martins, was seen looking emotional as he played the piano with both hands for the first time in 20 years.
