‘Jesus Is Coming Soon’ was written by R.E. Winsett in 1942. It’s a powerful song that speaks of Christ’s return and encourages us to stay strong in our faith despite worldly troubles. The lyrics talk about how Jesus will come back, perhaps sooner than we think, and how we should be ready for that day.
The Redeemed Quartet began their journey on July 4, 2014. Four country boys heard God calling them to share His message through music. They’ve been singing ever since, traveling far and wide to uplift people with their voices.
In the ten years since they started, the quartet has covered a lot of ground. They’ve sung in small country churches and on big theater stages. They’ve even performed in the Alaskan tundra! Through it all, their message has stayed the same – Jesus is the only way.
The four members of Redeemed Quartet blend their voices beautifully in this rendition. Each part of the song stands out, from the deep bass to the high tenor. As they perform, the gospel speaks to our hearts.
Troublesome times are here, filling men’s hearts with fear
Freedom we all hold dear now is at stake
Humbling your hearts to God saves from the chastening rod

We’re living in uncertain times, with conflicts and worries all around us. But the song reminds us to turn to God, to humble ourselves before Him.
“If My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Jesus is coming soon, morning or night or noon
Many will meet their doom, trumpets will sound
All of the dead shall rise, righteous meet in the skies
Going where no one dies, heavenward bound
What a wonderful promise! What a majestic day that will be!
