The video for ‘Wait’ starts with a sweet message to Ava. We then see Jeremy in his home. He’s not just an actor. He also sings, plays the guitar, the keyboard, and drums. Jeremy talks directly to Ava at the beginning. He says, “To my daughter, my everything. My only thing, my number one…” Then, he starts singing.

The song ‘Wait’ has really touching lyrics. As Jeremy sings, the video shows moments with his daughter over the years. Towards the end, we see Ava in a wedding dress, standing with Jeremy. He’s smiling and wearing a bracelet that reads “Dad.”

The chorus of the song is a heartfelt plea. Jeremy sings, “For whatever it’s worth, I know that it hurts. You are the ocean and I am the earth. Would you wait, wait, Wait for me now?” He’s asking Ava to be patient and understand as he tries to express his feelings.

Jeremy Renner ‘Wait’ Lyrics

I know that I’m complicated
I don’t have a lot to say in
The daylight
Maybe I’m uncomfortable
Little unpredictable, sometimes

Whatever it’s worth, I know that it hurts
You are the ocean and I am the earth
Hide in my head, leave things unsaid
I am the needle and you are the thread

Jeremy released ‘Wait’ in January 2024. This was exactly one year after his accident. The song is part of an upcoming album called “Love and Titanium.” This album is inspired by what Jeremy went through after his accident.

On Instagram, Jeremy shared his thoughts about the song. He said, “New musical diary – story of life, death, recovery, all things learned along the way ‘Wait’ lit Jan 1. I can’t wait to share more with you.”

Jeremy has been singing for a while. He has songs in movies and released his first extended play, “The Medicine,” in March 2020.
