BYU Concert Choir sings a beautiful version of ‘It Is Well with My Soul’ in a video that’s touching many hearts.

Horatio Spafford wrote ‘It Is Well with My Soul’ in 1873 after going through very hard times. Spafford, a successful lawyer and businessman, had lost his fortune in the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
Shortly after, his four daughters died in a shipwreck while crossing the Atlantic. It was on his own voyage to meet his grieving wife that Spafford wrote the lyrics to this powerful hymn.
The BYU Concert Choir is a group of talented students from Brigham Young University who sing a variety of music, from classical to contemporary. Known for their beautiful harmonies and moving performances, they often perform in concerts and events.
