Jessica was delivering groceries for an elderly man. The order was placed by his daughter, who instructed Jessica to leave the bags on the porch. But as Jessica arrived, she felt a strong urge from God to do more than just drop off the groceries.
“I get there, and something was telling me no, you gotta help this man out,” Jessica explained in her TikTok video. Following this prompting, she decided to bring the groceries inside, even though it went against company policy.

Trusting her God-given instincts, Jessica messaged the man’s daughter. She expressed her concerns about his health and mentioned the possible propane leak. “There’s a propane tank in there,” she told the woman. “I was in there maybe five feet and I got dizzy. There’s got to be a leak.”
The next day, Jessica received a heartfelt message from the daughter. It confirmed that there was indeed a propane leak, and Jessica’s actions had saved both her father and her younger son’s lives.
Overcome with emotion, Jessica shared her experience on TikTok. “I’m just an Instacart worker, but if you see something, say something. I did, and I’m so happy I did,” she said through tears.
Jessica’s story went viral, touching millions of viewers. People praised her for her compassion and bravery. Some companies even recognized her actions with generous gifts. Royal Caribbean Cruises offered her family a free seven-day cruise, and Old Navy arranged a shopping spree for her.
