A drummer’s unexpected prank during a live performance of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song’ left the lead singer and audience in splits.
In rock performances, drums are one of the most important elements that keep the music alive and moving. We feel the beat in our hearts as drummers create the foundation for every song.
But what happens when a drummer decides to break from the script and add something completely unexpected to a classic rock anthem?
The band was playing the famous Led Zeppelin track ‘Immigrant Song’ when the drummer decided to add his own twist. Right in the middle of this high-energy song, he played a cartoon-like sound effect.
It sounded like someone running into a wall mixed with a cowbell. The lead singer never saw it coming.
The singer couldn’t help but burst into laughter while trying to sing. He did manage to continue with the song, but he kept a big smile on his face the whole time.
What made this moment so special was how well the singer took the joke from his bandmate. Everyone in the audience loved this unplanned moment.
Instead of ruining the performance, the drummer’s playful trick and the singer’s genuine reaction made the concert even better.
