Hulk Hogan Shares Testimony on His Transformation After Accepting Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior

Hulk Hogan, renowned wrestler, recently shared his journey of faith, calling his baptism the greatest moment of his life.

Hulk Hogan testimony

Hulk Hogan testimony reminds us that even if we stray, we can always return to God, who welcomes us back.

When we publicly proclaim our faith, like Hogan did, we live out our beliefs and share the power of Jesus Christ with others.

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, is known worldwide for his wrestling career. But his most significant victory happened in a church in Largo, Florida.

At Indian Rocks Baptist Church, Hogan was baptized by Pastor Aaron Filippone.

As he openly declared his faith in Jesus Christ, it changed his life forever.

“It broke down that fourth or fifth wall to tell people the truth about my Lord and Savior, how you should look at things or how you should care for people and not judge people. It set me free,” Hogan shared.

Hogan accepted Christ at 14 but later lost his way. Now, at 70, he is committed to his faith and avoids past mistakes.

“Going back to my faith, the momentum was overwhelming; there was nothing stopping me,” he said.

Hogan balances his public and private life carefully. At home, he is just Terry—no wrestling photos or belts. He values this separation and appreciates his wrestling character but knows how to keep it apart from his personal life.

Hogan’s faith has also touched his relationships with other wrestlers. He shared a story about Roddy Piper, known as Rowdy Roddy Piper. They were rivals in the ring but later became friends.

Hogan talked about faith with Piper, and after Piper’s death, Hogan received a voicemail from him saying, “I’m just loving you, my brother. I’m just walking with Jesus.” This moved Hogan deeply.

He also had a strong bond with Andre the Giant, who starred in “The Princess Bride.” Hogan appreciated Andre’s honesty and friendship.

Andre’s death in 1993 was a significant loss, but their friendship remains a source of strength for Hogan.

Hogan draws a parallel between wrestling and faith. Like wrestling, faith requires us to be active participants, not just spectators.

“We, as God’s followers, need to quit trying to write our own scripts and trust in the plan that God has for us,” he said.

Hogan’s story shows the impact of public faith declarations. His baptism had a global ripple effect, reaching people worldwide. This demonstrates how one person’s faith journey can inspire many others.

Hogan encourages everyone to embrace their faith fully. “It’s a spiritual war in this fallen world. To turn to the truth, seek Him, and you shall find. Accept Christ, and He will heal the land and the people,” he advised.

When we reflect on Hogan’s journey, we see the importance of being authentic in our faith. It’s not enough to know about Jesus; we must truly know Him and live out His teachings.

Hogan’s story challenges us to be active in our faith journey. By embracing our faith wholeheartedly and sharing it with others, we inspire and heal our communities and the world.

His journey shows that it’s never too late to return to God and live our faith authentically. Let’s commit fully to our faith, and share Jesus’s love with those around us.
